Finding Baby Jesus With GPS

Forget about following the Christmas Star.

If you want to find baby Jesus, you’ll need to tune into technology.

The Associated Press reported this week that a number of churches and synagogues are installing Global Positioning System chips inside nativity scenes and menorahs so that they can be quickly located if they are stolen.

Apparently a fair number of religious holiday displays go missing every year.

GPS chips can guide police to the stolen figurine or menorah so they can determine if the thief is a prankster, plunderer, or hater. Perhaps knowing the three wise men may be bearing a GPS chip inside their gifts will be enough to deter baby Jesus-nappers.
